Ghana is widely applauded by the international community as the ‘Golden Child’ of West Africa for the manner in which the democratic process appears to be consolidating, and for leading the way for peaceful, free and fair elections in the sub-region.

Though the country is globally recognized with respect to how it holds its multi-party elections, campaigning for peace in tomorrow's elections has never and can never be downplayed.

On account of this, President Akufo-Addo is expected to focus his tonight's address on how the country should go into this elections and still uphold the peace we enjoy today.

Still on the subject of peace, Mr Akufo-Addo and his arch-rival, former President John Mahama signed a peace pact on Friday, to signify their commitment to non-violence during and after the polls.
