The Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems Limited (GhIPSS) has presented a dividend of GH¢14.58 million to the Bank of Ghana, its sole shareholder, for the 2025 financial year.

The presentation took place at The Bank Square following the successful conclusion of GhIPSS’ Annual General Meeting.

Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Johnson Pandit Asiama, described the ceremony as an important governance milestone, noting that it provides an opportunity for GhIPSS to formally present its approved dividend to its shareholder.

He congratulated the Board, Management and staff of GhIPSS for another strong performance year, commending their continued efforts to strengthen Ghana’s national payment systems and expand the country’s digital financial ecosystem.

Dr. Asiama formally received the dividend and praised the institution for its operational performance, innovation and corporate governance standards.

He also highlighted the broader value GhIPSS provides beyond financial returns, particularly its role in developing secure, resilient and interoperable payment infrastructure that supports Ghana’s financial sector and the wider economy.

“As a shareholder, we appreciate not only the financial return presented today but also the value GhIPSS continues to create through the development of secure, resilient and interoperable payment infrastructure that supports Ghana’s financial sector and the broader economy,” he said.

The Governor further encouraged the Board and management to sustain their performance and remain focused on strategic priorities that will ensure continued growth and success.
