I was impressed by the vision and project they presented – Samuel Tenedu on why he chose Aduana FC

New Aduana FC signing Samuel Tenedu says the club’s ambitious vision and long-term project convinced him to complete a move to the two-time Ghana Premier League champions ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The experienced midfielder has joined the Dormaa-based side on a long-term contract from fellow Premier League outfit Berekum Chelsea as Aduana continue to bolster their squad for the new campaign.
Tenedu, who has previously featured for Legon Cities, Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea, arrives with significant Ghana Premier League experience and is expected to play a central role in Aduana’s midfield.
Speaking after his official unveiling, the midfielder said the discussions he held with the club’s management and coaching staff left him convinced that Aduana was the right destination for the next stage of his career.
“I’m delighted to join Aduana FC. It’s a club I’ve always admired. After meeting with the coach and the club’s management, I was impressed by the vision and project they presented, which played a key role in my decision to sign,” Tenedu said.
The midfielder is widely regarded for his composure in possession, tactical intelligence and ability to dictate the tempo of matches. His versatility and experience are expected to provide balance and leadership in Aduana’s engine room as the club aims to mount a strong challenge in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
Tenedu has made 64 appearances in Ghana’s top flight across spells with Legon Cities, Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea, establishing himself as one of the league’s dependable midfielders.
His arrival is the latest statement of intent from Aduana FC, who have been active in the transfer market as they seek to build a squad capable of competing for silverware.
For Tenedu, the move offers a fresh challenge and an opportunity to play a key role in a club whose ambitions, he says, aligned perfectly with his own aspirations for the future.
