Kumasi Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of defender Andrews Kwadwo Appau in the current transfer window.

The young defender joins the porcupine warriors from Division One League side Bofoakwa Tano where he has been in very good form.

He joins the club on a four year deal after passing a mandatory medical examinations and agreeing personal terms with the club.

Asante Kotoko announced the acquisition of the 18-year-old as their ninth signing for upcoming season with a message on their official twitter handle.

Appau was among the players invited by Coach Karim Zito for Ghana U-20 camping last month.

Asante Kotoko have already signed Kwame Opoku, Razak Abalora, Yusif Mubarik, Emmanuel Keyekeh, Abdul Latif Anabila, Patrick Asmah, Emmanuel Sarkodie and Evans Adomako Wiredu.
