Police arrest 21 LGBTQI+ members over unlawful assembly in Ho

Some twenty one (21) persons suspected to be members of the LGBTQI+ community have been arrested in the Volta Regional capital Ho.
According to a police statement, the suspects include 16 females and 5 males.
The said persons suspected to be from Accra were arrested at the Nurses and Midwives hotel on Thursday, May 20.
According to the police, investigations uncovered books and other materials on LGBTQI.
