Ghanaian defender Issahaku Konda has completed a transfer to Estonian elite division side Paide Linnameeskond.

The central defender joins his new side from lower tier side Asokwa Deportivo.

He was the captain of the Ghana U-20 team that participated in the WAFU Cup of Nations in Niger in 2019.

The former Wa All Stars defender joined Austria second tier side FC Juniors OO but left to join Asokwa Deportivo on a free transfer in January 2019.

“I am happy to be able to join one of the best clubs in Estonia and of course I want to fight for Paide for the title this year,” Konda said after completing the deal.

“I try to bring leadership qualities to the team, help build a powerful line of defense and develop further as a player to be one of the best defenders in Premium League.”

He is the third Ghanaian to pitch camp with the Estonian side with his two other compatriots  Abdul Razak Yussif and Deabeas Owusu-Sekyere on their books.
