Ghanaian forward Noah Awuku joins Eintracht Norderstedt in Germany

Noah Awuku, a 23-year-old forward of Ghanaian descent, has completed a move to German Regionalliga Nord (IV) side Eintracht Norderstedt.
The player joined the club on a free transfer after being released by Bundesliga 2 team Holstein Kiel.
Awuku had a challenging season due to injuries while playing for Holstein Kiel.
However, his versatility and experience in various German leagues make him a valuable addition to the Eintracht Norderstedt squad.
“Noah is only 23 years old, but has already gained a lot of experience and can look back on assignments in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th leagues. He’s strong in the air, robust and agile and will make us more versatile in attack because he can play in the center of the attack as well as on the flanks,” Olufemi Smith told his club’s official website
The club’s manager, Olufemi Smith, emphasized Awuku’s ability to contribute to their attacking options, as he can play both in the center and on the flanks.
At just 23 years old, Awuku has already gained significant experience, having competed in the second, third, and fourth tiers of German football.
He is known for his strength in the air, robustness, and agility, which will enhance Eintracht Norderstedt’s attacking options.
During the 2022/23 season with Holstein Kiel II, Awuku made 23 appearances in the Regionalliga Nord, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists.
Although he has represented Germany at youth level, Awuku remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for the Ghana national team on the international stage.
