In an exciting match at Fratton Park, English-born Ghanaian striker Daniel Agyei displayed his scoring prowess for Leyton Orient in a gripping encounter against Portsmouth.

The match started with tension as both teams sought control in a deadlock-breaking quest.

Leyton Orient dominated the first half-hour and was rewarded at the 30-minute mark when Shaqai Forde, finishing a nice team move, slotted the ball into the net.

The visitors continued their impressive start, increasing their lead a few minutes later.

Dan Happe’s effort from an Archibald corner grazed Jordan Brown’s leg and crossed the line.

Daniel Agyei added to the excitement just before halftime.

Agyei met an in-swinging Archibald corner with a bullet header, almost destroying the net.

Agyei, 26, has made nine appearances, scoring two goals and assisting one in League One this season.
