Mpox cases in Ghana climb to 119, no deaths reported

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed two new cases of Mpox, raising the country’s total to 119 as of June 22, 2025.
According to the GHS, no new deaths have been reported, and the death toll remains at zero.
Currently, no patients are hospitalized with the disease.
Mpox, formerly known as monkeypox, is primarily spread through close contact with infected individuals. Health officials are urging the public to follow safety guidelines and seek prompt medical care if symptoms develop.
The GHS says it remains committed to closely monitoring the outbreak and taking steps to curb further transmission.
