The Ghana Revenue Authority has extended the deadline for filing Personal Income Tax (PIT) returns for the 2025 Year of Assessment.

In a statement, the Authority announced that taxpayers now have until May 31, 2026, to file their returns.

The GRA urged all eligible individuals to take advantage of the extension and ensure they meet their tax obligations within the new deadline.

Taxpayers were also encouraged to submit their returns through the online tax filing platform accessible via the taxpayers’ portal.

According to the Authority, the extension is intended to provide additional time for individuals who are yet to complete the filing process while promoting improved tax compliance across the country.
