NPA, Ghana Gas Strengthen Collaboration for Operational Efficiency

The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Gas Company Limited, Ms Judith Adjobah Blay, has paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Mr Godwin Kudzo Tameklo.
The visit, which took place on Tuesday, June 16, follows an earlier engagement in August last year aimed at exploring collaborative opportunities between the two institutions to strengthen Ghana’s petroleum downstream sector.
Discussions during the meeting centred on enhancing cooperation to ensure the smooth operations of Ghana Gas and deepen mutual partnerships between the two organisations.
Ms Blay noted that regular engagements between both institutions are essential to maintaining alignment as strategic partners in the energy sector.
She explained that the follow-up meeting was necessary to address technical issues affecting the operations of both Ghana Gas and the NPA.
“These meetings are very necessary so that we can be on the same page in terms of how we serve the companies that rely on us,” she said.
On his part, Mr Tameklo expressed appreciation to the Ghana Gas CEO for the visit and reaffirmed the NPA’s commitment to supporting the company’s operations.
He assured that the Authority would intensify efforts in key operational areas to ensure a smoother working environment for Ghana Gas.
“The NPA will continue to deliver on its mandate to make your work less difficult and ensure your operations run smoothly,” he stated.
He added that both institutions remain committed to fulfilling their responsibilities for the overall benefit of Ghana’s energy sector.
The engagement reaffirmed the strong partnership between the NPA and Ghana Gas, highlighting their shared commitment to collaboration, efficiency, and the sustainable development of the country’s petroleum industry.
