Ghana’s Mohammed Adams joins Hapoel Afula
Ghanaian defender Mohammed Adams has joined Israeli Liga Leumit side Hapoel Afula ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 25-year-old centre-back makes the move after a successful spell with Hapoel Ramat Gan, where he played an important role in the club’s promotion to the Israeli Premier League.
Adams’ move to Afula marks another step in a career that has taken him across several countries.
The former Liberty Professionals defender has also played for Finnish clubs FC Honka and RoPS, as well as Portuguese side SC Covilhã.
After helping Ramat Gan secure promotion, Adams will now look to bring his defensive experience to Hapoel Afula as the club prepares for the new campaign.
The move represents another chapter in the Ghanaian’s growing career abroad, with Adams aiming to establish himself as a key figure in Israeli football.
His experience in Ghana, Finland, Portugal and Israel has given him a broad footballing background, and Afula will hope that experience can help strengthen their squad for the 2026/27 season.
