Ashgold coach Roberto Landi goes AWOL

Ashantigold head coach Roberto Landi has gone AWOL after leaving the club without the knowledge of his employers.
The coach is believed to be owed some arrears in his salaries and entitlements while there is also disagreements over the club’s recruitment.
He signed a contract with the Miners in February this year to be the head coach of the Obuasi based club.
Landi left Ghana for his home country of Italy when there was a break in the local league due to the coronavirus pandemic.
After arriving from Italy in September, the squad had been decimated with the likes of goalkeeper Frank Boateng, Yusif Mubarik, James Akaminko, Latif Anabilla all leaving the club on a free transfer.
The beleaguered coach is seeking for his unpaid salaries to be paid to him since he signed for the club which they have reneged on.
Landi has worked in Europe in Lithuania, Georgia, Libya, Belgium, Scotland and Hungary.
