Ghana international Kwasi Sibo says criticism has never shaken his confidence, insisting it has instead strengthened his determination after coming under scrutiny during his time with the Black Stars.

The defensive midfielder, who was part of Ghana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, faced criticism following the team’s performances at the tournament. Despite the backlash, Sibo says he has remained focused on improving his game.

“Criticism is normal. I have been criticised a lot, but it never hurts me,” he told 3Sports.

Sibo was among the players selected for Ghana’s World Cup campaign and has since returned home following the tournament, taking time to rest before preparations begin for the 2026-27 season.

The midfielder is now considering the next step in his career amid growing interest from clubs abroad.

Sibo revealed that he has received approaches from teams in the English Premier League and the Saudi Pro League, while expressing his ambition to compete at the highest level of European football.

“I am ready to play in the Champions League. I have offers from the Premier League and the Saudi League,” he said.

The 27-year-old’s future is expected to be decided in the coming weeks as he weighs up his options ahead of the new season, with a move to one of Europe’s top leagues or the Middle East appearing increasingly likely.
