Eleven Wonders CEO clears air on Ibrahim Salifu’s elegibility to play against former Club

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Ghana Premier League side Techiman Eleven Wonders, Albert Commey has cleared air Hearts Of Oak’s Salifu Ibrahim’s elegibility to play against his former team, saying the midfielder can play against them at anytime.
Ibrahim joined Accra Hearts of Oak from Techiman Eleven Wonders during the second transfer window and has been named in the squad that made the trip.
Ahead of the Matchday 25 clash on Friday, there had been claims midfielder will not be able to play against his former club.
However, Albert Commey has confirmed that the part of the contract which said so have being taken out upon the request of Hearts of Oak SC Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV, that makes the 20-year old winger eligible to play against his former team.

“We initially added it in the contract but the club owner of Hearts of Oak, Togbe Afede XIV demanded that portion out of the contract removed”
“He is eligible to the play against us if only his coach wishes” Alberty Commey told Kumasi based OTEC FM.
Ibrahim joined the Phobias on a three year contract following a successful negotiations in an undisclosed fees.
He has been phenomenal for the Phobians in their quest to win their first league trophy in 10 years.
