Ghana Premier League leaders Bofoakwa Tano held to a goalless draw by Gold Stars

Bofoakwa Tano, the current table-toppers of the Ghana Premier League, faced a resilient Gold Stars team on Saturday at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
The match ended in a goalless draw.
Bofoakwa Tano started the game brightly, pushing for an early opener, but Gold Stars defended resolutely.
The 0-0 scoreline may have been unfair, as both teams had opportunities to score, but poor finishing and determined defending kept the game scoreless.
Despite maintaining their perfect start to the season with the draw, Bofoakwa Tano couldn’t hand Gold Stars their third defeat in the opening five GPL fixtures.
Gold Stars remain in fifth place on the table with seven points, while Bofoakwa Tano continues to lead the league with nine points, two points ahead of the five teams closely trailing them.
