Ghanaian female young sensation Abdulai Mukarama remain in the hunt for the CAF Women’s player of the year award.

The teenager joins Black Queens skipper Elizabeth Addo as the two Ghanaians out of eleven nominees with Portia Boakye dropping out of the running.

Meanwhile, Thomas Partey surprisingly did not make the cut in the 10-man shortlist for the African Player of the Year prize in a list that includes the likes of Alex Iwobi and Andre Onana.
