President John Dramani Mahama will officially launch his flagship infrastructure initiative, the Big Push programme, on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Afienya, Greater Accra.

The initiative aims to modernise Ghana’s infrastructure, starting with the road sector.

The event will feature a sod-cutting ceremony for the Dawhenya–Afienya–Dodowa road, designed to ease traffic congestion and enhance connectivity.

The Big Push is expected to drive economic growth and improve living standards across the country.
