There has been calls from some coaches and players of various Ghana Premier League(GPL) teams for the last six matches in the league to be played simultaneously.

As the proponents of playing at the same time believes it eliminates any advantage a side who plays before the other or vice versa may get.

Teams who usually play the last round of matches in the GPL say it normally comes with a lot of pressure but veteran coach J.E Sarpong says that playing simultaneously will not change anything.

There are some persons who are of the view that playing at the same time eliminates teams playing matches of convenience thereby making the league fair.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Ashh Fm, the veteran trainer says that playing at the same time will not change anything as teams who wants to do their nefarious activities can do so.

“Playing simultaneously wouldn’t change anything. When teams want to do their operations they will still do it”

“Don’t underrate the intelligence of a Ghanaian. Even if played at Nights they will get the results,” he revealed.
