Ghana and Sheriff Tiraspol goalkeeper, Razak Abalora helped his Moldovan side to a second trophy since joining the club in January.

The Moldovan league champions on Saturday after defeated Sfintul Gheorge by a solitary goal to win the Moldovan Cup.

Abalora who joined the Moldovan side from Asante Kotoko in the January transfer window lasted the entire duration of the game as he kept a clean sheet.

The first half of the game ended 0-0 as both sides could no find the back of the net despite Tiraspol exerting a lot of pressure as they searched for the opener.

Tiraspol finally found the  back of the net late in the game through Regi Lushkja to lift their  second trophy of the season after winning the league title.

Compatriot Edmund Addo was involved in the Cup finals and is expected in Ghana next week for the AFCON qualifier.
