Tamale High Court orders rerun of Kpandai parliamentary election

The Tamale High Court has ordered a rerun of the Kpandai parliamentary election, directing that a fresh poll be held within 30 days.

The decision, delivered by His Lordship Emmanuel Brew Plange, stems from a legal challenge to the 2024 parliamentary results in the constituency. Petitioners argued that irregularities during voting and collation undermined the credibility of the outcome.

In his ruling, Justice Plange upheld the petition and instructed the Electoral Commission to conduct a new election to determine the rightful winner.
