Fire razes down old soldier’s 7-bedroom house

Fire has razed down a seven-bedroom house belonging to a former military man at Asokore Mampong in the Ashanti region.
The fire began around 9 pm Sunday and destroyed several properties including an amount of Gh¢15, 000, belonging to the former soldier, identified as Collins Osei Adjei.
playFire razes down old soldier’s 7-bedroom houseNo casualties were recorded in the incident. Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service arrived at the scene but took several hours to put the fire under control.
It is not yet clear what caused the fire but the Ghana National Fire Service believes that it might have been due to faulty wires.
