Honda Civic Gutted by Fire at Kwamoso-Duasin in Eastern Region

A Honda Civic saloon car has been left extensively damaged after catching fire at Kwamoso-Duasin in the Eastern Region on the night of June 4, 2026.

The Ghana National Fire Service received a distress call at approximately 10:40 p.m. and promptly dispatched a seven-member crew from the Koforidua Municipal Fire Station to the scene.

The team, led by Assistant Divisional Officer II Awuku, arrived to find the vehicle — bearing registration number GW 2669-17 — completely engulfed in flames.

Firefighters moved swiftly to bring the blaze under control, successfully extinguishing it within minutes and preventing it from spreading to surrounding properties.

While the Honda Civic sustained extensive damage, no injuries or fatalities were recorded in connection with the incident.

The Ghana National Fire Service has launched an investigation to establish what caused the vehicle to catch fire.
