Ghanaian forward Daniel Adu-Adjei continued his impressive start to the new season by scoring for HNK Rijeka in their opening Croatian league fixture against NK Rudeš over the weekend.

The 20-year-old found the back of the net as Rijeka kicked off their domestic campaign on a positive note, extending a rich vein of form that has seen him score in consecutive competitions.

Adu-Adjei had already announced himself on the European stage last week with a goal in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers, and his latest strike means he has now scored twice in his opening three appearances across all competitions this season.

The former AFC Bournemouth youngster is enjoying life with the Croatian side, with his growing confidence in front of goal providing an early boost for Rijeka as they balance domestic and European commitments.

His strong early-season form will also be encouraging news for Ghanaian football fans, who will be hoping the promising attacker can maintain his momentum and continue his development throughout the campaign.
