“Elephants are dancing because Trump has won” – Alhaji Abdullah
The treasurer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alhaji Abdullah Ahmed Abdulla, has said that the jubilation by New Patriotic Party (NPP) over Donald Trump’s victory in call for a “change” in Ghana will end up in mirage.
The call for change by the NPP in their popular “change is coming” slogan has gained traction after the victory of Republican’s Donald Trump in the US elections.
However, speaking at mini rally at Mamobi, Alhaji Abdullah rediculed the assession of the largest opposition party, saying it lacks merit as there are vast difference between the Ghana and the US.
“The elephants were dancing in town because Trump has won the US election and therefore it means victory to them. Saying there is going to a be change in Ghana. Nana will win…Is America Ghana?”hev quizzed.
“Everything has been done for them..so if you are not performing better as a leader you must be changed at all cost..that is how it is in America. There is a great difference between Ghana and America. The roads in Ghana are not yet completed but in America today, there is no where you could find an uncompleted road..so there is a vast difference between America and Ghana.”
They can keep
Alhaji Abdullah Ahmed Abdulla enumerated what the NDC’s performance and challenged the NPP to come out and mention what they think they did for the constituncy in the entire 8 years when the former President Kuffour was the president.
“…Probably when those things came to place you were not born. Whatever you are making use of in this country is from the NDC, this area specifically light, gutters everything…” he said.
The rally saw the likes of Alhaji Saeed sinare, Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and the parliamentary candidate for the North Ayawaso Constituency, Yussif Jajah with other constituency executives.
