Former King Faisal supporters chief eyes CEO job

Former supporters chairman of Ghana premier league new boys King Faisal, Mr. Michael Karl Aye Kumi has expressed his desire to become the club’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
The Kumasi based club’s CEO position is currently vacant as former Ghana international Samuel Osei Kuffour has taken over the club from founder and Bank roller Alhaji Grusah.
The club is preparing to play in the Ghanaian top flight following a decision by the congress of the Ghana Football Association to increase the number of teams to 18 for the 2019-20 season.
They however racing against time to put together a new management team and according to a source close to the club, former supporters chief Mr. Michael Karl Kumi is in pole position to occupy the topmost vacancy.
The source further disclosed that, the former Pepsi Ghana marketing executive, who currently resides in USA is ready to come down for the CEO job.
As chairman of king fasial football club supporters union, Mr. Karl Kumi was at post when the club won the top 4 title in 2004.
He was also the supporters chairman to have taken king Faisal to the Caf Confedration Cup.
He is currently working as A business Development/Account manager With coca cola .
