The Member of Parliament for Sissala West, Mohammed Adams Sukparu, has expressed his profound gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama following his appointment as Deputy Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovation.
In a statement issued today, a day after his appointment was officially announced, Mr. Sukparu thanked the President for the trust reposed in him, describing the opportunity to serve in government as “a privilege in its highest order.”
In a post on facebook on July 1o, he said, “Today, I officially convey my sincere appreciation to the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, for the trust and confidence reposed, and the call up to join him in service to this nation.”
Mr. Sukparu will be working under sector Minister Samuel Nartey George, whom he praised as a visionary leader with a transformative agenda for Ghana’s digital and communications landscape.
“I am deeply inspired by my boss, the industrious and visionary Honourable Minister, Mr. Samuel Nartey George, who has already shown a blueprint of a transformed communications and digital landscape of Ghana. I am honoured to support this dream in motion.”
Pledging his full commitment to the role, Mr. Sukparu said he would bring his “experience, knowledge, ideas and vision” to help advance the sector’s progress and contribute meaningfully to national development.
He also extended appreciation to his constituents, family, and supporters, especially the chiefs and people of Sissala West, for their continued loyalty and encouragement.
