National Sports Authority send goodwill message to Black Meteors

The National Sports Authority(NSA) has sent a goodwill message to Ghana’s Under 23 team ahead of the start of the CAF U23 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The Black Meteors kick start their quest for a place in next year’s Olympic games in Tokyo, Japan when they come face to face with group A opponent Cameroon in Cairo on Friday.
And ahead of the tie, the NSA which is the umbrella body of all sporting federations in Ghana has sent the team their well wishes.
In a statement signed by the head of public relation, Mr. Charles Amofa, the NSA expressed confidence in the Back Meteors abilities to seal a qualification slot.
The full statement reads:
The National Sports Authority wishes the Black Meteors of Ghana the best of luck, as they begin their quest to conquer Africa in the upcoming Total Under 23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt. We have no doubts in our minds that they will excel in the opening game against Cameroun on Friday and subsequent matches. It is also our prayer that the team sails through to the semifinals in order to secure a ticket to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. In this regard, we ask all football loving Ghanaians to rally behind the team, so as to spur them on to go for the ultimate in this competition. Once again, we wish the playing body and the officials well in the tournament.
