Nii Odartey Lamptey appointed Techiman Eleven Wonders head coach

Former Ghana international Nii Odartey Lamptey has been named head coach of Eleven Wonders and will lead his first training session on Saturday, August 9 2025 ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
Lamptey’s appointment adds another chapter to his growing coaching career, following previous stints with Elmina Sharks and other roles within Ghana football.
Eleven Wonders, now under the ownership of Legon Cities FC boss Richard Atippoe, will feature in the Premier League this season despite Legon Cities’ relegation last term. Atippoe acquired the top-flight slot of Techiman-based Eleven Wonders and has retained the club’s name, though the side will now operate from Accra.
Lamptey’s immediate challenge will be to assemble and prepare a competitive squad capable of improving on last season’s struggles under the Legon Cities banner.
Training begins today, with the former Aston Villa and Anderlecht midfielder eager to instil his football philosophy before the campaign kicks off.
