There is controversy surrounding where Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will be residing.
The official residence designated for vice presidents in Ghana is being occupied by former president John Mahama. He has served notice he wants to use it as his “retirement home” but that decision has not gone down well with some government officials.
In a statement, Mahama said Dr. Bawumia is “is expected to take up residence in the House known as Australia House, which was previously occupied by former Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur.”
