Kotoko Cheif Executive officer, Mr. George Amoako has lashed out at Ivorian side San Pedro for deliberately coming to provoke his side.

He has accused the Ivorian side for being indiscipline and causing so much trouble during their brief stay in Kumasi.

Asante Kotoko hosted Ivorian side San Pedro Fc in their first leg encounter in the Caf Confederations cup play-off first leg managing to them through a last minute Naby Keita penalty.

The first leg match was played in two days as the rains prevented the second half from continuing on Sunday so it was postponed to Monday where the remaining 45 minutes was played.

“What they (San Pedro) did clearly shows they came to provoke us, so much indiscipline. I don’t think their intimidation will harm us in any way because we have seen worse things, we will do everything to provide every security to ensure Kotoko plays the match there safely”.

“Our supporters are almost giving up (referring to recent results of Kotoko in continental matches) so everything we need to do to ensure we qualify ahead of FC San Pedro, we will. Qualifying to the next stage is what must happen”.he told Kumasi based Fox Fm.
