2026 FIFA WCQ: Coach Otto Addo relishes Mohammed Kudus’ current form going to CAR clash

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has expressed delight over Mohammed Kudus’ red-hot form, as Ghana prepares for their final two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Central African Republic and Comoros Island.
Kudus, who joined Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, has been instrumental in Spurs’ early-season surge, scoring and assisting in their 2–1 win over Leeds United at Elland Road. The performance lifted his goal contributions to five in seven Premier League games, underlining his growing influence.
“Surely, if somebody scores, I’m happy for everybody who scores. But he did well,” Addo said during Ghana’s pre-match presser.
“He created a lot of chances for Tottenham. He had some assists as well.”
Ghana currently tops Group I, and a win on Wednesday could seal their place at North America 2026, marking their fifth World Cup appearance.
Shining in the English Premiership with Tottenham Hotspur with five direct goal contributions (1 goal, 4 assists) in seven games, the 25-year-old will be a huge weapon for the Black Stars with his creativity, dribbling, and final-third precision.
With Kudus in peak form and Addo’s squad focused, Ghana enters the final stretch with momentum, belief, and national pride.
