Electoral violence over the years has been seen as one of the key things likely to alter the success chalked in the practice of democracy in many African countries.

Sierra Leone, Kenya, Cote d’Ivoire and several others are but a few of the many countries whose democracies have been highly threatened by violent acts during elections.

Here in Ghana, the narrative is not so different.
