PPA boss didn’t act alone- Asepa alleges
The Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA) has called for the removal of all top directors of the Public Procurement Authority, alleging their complicity in a corrupt scandal that has hit the office.

Adjenim Boateng Adjei was filmed in investigative piece dubbed ‘Contract For Sale’, in which he is involved in alleged corrupt activities.
The documentary by freelance investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni captured the PPA boss allegedly selling government contracts through his own private company, Talent Discovery Limited (TDL)
But ASEPA, in a media release, wants more heads to roll, arguing that Boaten Adjei, could not have acted solely.
“If you look at the administrative architecture of the PPA, it was almost impossible for the PPA boss to have acted alone without the tacit collaboration of the Board and other top Executives,” the statement read.

ASEPA CALLS FOR THE DISSOLUTION OF PPA BOARD AND THE REMOVAL OF ALL TOP PPA DIRECTORS
Following the investigative piece by Manasseh Azure dubbed “Contract for Sale” and the subsequent suspension of the boss of the Public Procurement Authority, we call for the immidiate dissolution of the PPA board and the removal all top Executives of the PPA including the Deputy C.E.O who the President asked the incumbent C.E.O to hand over to.
If you look at the administrative architecture of the PPA, it was almost impossible for the PPA boss to have acted alone without the tacit collaboration of the Board and other top Executives.
The suspension of the PPA boss must also come with the immidiate arrest of the PPA boss, his deputy and all top Executives of the PPA.
The Minister of Finance, the Minister for Procurement must also be investigated for their complicity in all levels of procurement frauds at the PPA.
We also call for the immidiate investigation and Prosecution of the board members of PPA for supervising such levels of fraud and procurement malfeasances.
