Kaneshie: 18yr-old feared dead after being trapped in drain during flooding

An 18-year-old woman is feared dead after she was trapped in a gutter at Tesano, a surbub of Accra, following a downpour on Sunday afternoon.

According to eyewitnesses, the girl, Mary Ashamatey who sells maize at Blue kiosk at Tesano in an attempt to retrieve her slippers which fell into the gutter lost balance and fell into the drain.

Currently, the body of the deceased has been conveyed from the scene by the Tesano Police Command.
