Black Princesses head coach Charles Sampson has reaffirmed his team’s commitment to qualifying for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, following a dominant 6–0 aggregate victory over Tunisia in the ongoing qualifiers.

Ghana’s U-20 women sealed the tie with a 2–0 win in Sfax last weekend, before completing the job with a 4–0 triumph in Accra, showcasing attacking flair and defensive discipline across both legs.

“Our goal is to qualify for the World Cup, but our intention is to go step by step,” Sampson told the media.
“Now that we are done with Tunisia, our next focus turns to the next match, which is against South Africa.”

Sampson revealed he has already begun analyzing South Africa, who defeated Eswatini 5–0 in their first-leg encounter.

“I have watched them. I have an idea of their team. We are up to the task,” he added.
“Any opponent we get, we will study them and work towards how we can outweigh them.”

The Black Princesses will face South Africa in the next round of qualifiers, scheduled for early 2026. The winner of that tie will move one step closer to securing a spot at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, where Ghana aims to make a deeper impact than in previous editions.
