Dreams FC goalkeeper Gidios Aseako has earned a place in Ghana’s squad for the upcoming friendly against Mexico, capping off a season of steady progress and growing reputation.

Aseako has been a reliable figure between the posts in the Ghana Premier League, registering six clean sheets in seventeen appearances. His performances have played a key role in Dreams FC’s campaign, with his reflexes and shot-stopping ability standing out.

The call-up also reflects his experience at youth level. Aseako previously featured as Ghana’s first-choice goalkeeper during the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations, where he gained valuable international exposure.

Now stepping into the senior setup, he will be looking to build on that foundation and compete for a place in the national team as Queiroz assesses his options ahead of future competitions.
