Agyemang Badu likely to make switch to EPL as Middlesbrough scout him before winter break
Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is reportedly being scouted by English Premier League side Middlesbrough.
The English side sent scouts to monitor the 26 year old during Udinese’s Serie A clash against Sampdoria last Thursday.
Badu lasted the entire duration of the game and might judt be considered as a potential midfield boost for Boro.
The English outfit is however guided in their decision by the fact that the Black Stars midfield enforcer will be away on international duties during the 2017 AFCON tournament in Gabon next month.
The former under-20 World Cup winner caught the eye of Middlesbrough officials during last summers pre season friendly game at the Dacia Arena and now looking to sign the Ghanaian to aid their Premier League campaign.
Badu who joined the Italian outfit in January 2010 has become a regular figure in Udinese’s midfield leading the squad as captain in the absence of substantive captain Antonio Di Natali.
