Ghana international and AFC Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo is on a meaningful personal journey, delving deeper into his faith while achieving success in the Premier League.

The 23-year-old has recently expressed his desire to explore his spirituality and the significant role it plays in his life both on and off the pitch.

In an interview with Football Focus, Semenyo shared his aspiration to "learn more about God and what he's done in my life," a journey inspired by his family's values.

He reflected on his upbringing, noting how his parents’ commitment to attending church sometimes meant missing Sunday matches—a memory that now holds special significance as he carves out time for his spiritual growth.

Semenyo's daily routine includes Bible study, strengthening bonds with teammates, and enjoying the company of his 10-month-old dog, Bailey.

He also participates in Bournemouth’s “coffee club,” a relaxed setting where players connect and unwind, fostering camaraderie and mindfulness in his life.

This faith-centered approach complements Semenyo's dedication to his football career, especially regarding his commitment to the Ghana national team.

He described his first call-up to the Black Stars as a "dream come true," a moment that brought his family to tears.

His pride in representing Ghana is evident as he stated, “It’s an honour to play for Ghana.”
