Ghana under 23 Midfield anchorman, Michael Agbekpornu is happy with the his performances for the Black Meteors in the ongoing African Olympic games Qualifiers in Egypt.

The Dreams FC player has started all of Ghana's four games so far in the Competition and is likely to get a starting Berth again for the West African nation when they come face to face against South Africa on Friday in what will be a last chance to grab the final ticket for next year's Olympic games in Tokyo, Japan.

But speaking in an interview following Ghana's penalty shootout disappointment against rivals Ivory Coast in the semi final on Tuesday, Agnekpornu expresses satisfaction with his exhibition at the tournament so far.

“The tournament has been good, I always put up my best whenever I get the chance to feature", the young midfielder said.

He added, “It has been a great experience for me personally, we will continue to soldier on to achieve our dreams".

The Dreams FC man further indicated that his Black Meteors side now have their sight fixed on the game with South Africa as they seek to grab the final opportunity for an automatic qualification to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

“My expectations for the south Africa game is to give out my maximum best if i get the chance to play. We are going all out so that we can qualify for the Olympics because this is the only chance for us", Agnekpornu concluded.

Agnekpornu is one of the ten local players in the current Black Meteors Squad and with many calling for an overhaul of the team in case an Olympic qualification is secured, the Youngster will be hoping his performances will make a case for him.
