Bonsu Baah crowned Al Qadsiah’s April player of the month

Ghana international Christopher Bonsu Baah has been named Player of the Month for April by Al Qadsiah following a series of impressive performances in the Saudi Pro League.
The 21-year-old winger enjoyed his most productive spell since joining the Saudi side, playing a decisive role in Al Qadsiah’s dominant win over Al Riyadh and hard-fought draws against Al Shabab and Damac.
During the month, Bonsu Baah scored once and provided three assists, underlining his growing influence in the team managed by former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.
The former KRC Genk player has become one of Al Qadsiah’s standout performers this season, helping the club climb to fourth place in the Saudi Pro League standings.
His fine form has also continued into May. Bonsu Baah delivered another assist in Al Qadsiah’s surprise victory over Al Nassr, led by Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Ghana winger has now been directly involved in 14 league goals this season, including an impressive 11 assists.
Despite his strong performances, Bonsu Baah is set to miss Ghana’s upcoming international friendly against Mexico later this month, a setback for new Black Stars coach Carlos Queiroz.
However, the winger is expected to return in time for Ghana’s final pre-World Cup friendly against Wales.
