It’s election year once again and it’s important for each and everyone to register as a voter.
The IEBC has launched its second phase of the mass voter registration exercise which begins today. The exercise will last for 30 days, meaning you should have registered as a voter by 15th of February.

What’s better? You don’t have to register at the exact polling station that you will vote at.
You can register at any polling station so long as it’s in the same constituency. This means there’s no need to worry about moving lost distances just to book your chance to vote.

And if you wish to vote at a different constituency this time and not the one you voted in last time, you can apply for a transfer at the constituency offices of the new polling area.
After registration, voters will be required to confirm their status through a web portal and an SMS service that the IEBC will set up. This will be done from May 10 to June 9.
