Bawumia’s message is second to none in Ghana’s political space – Guru

Ghanaian hiplife musician Maradona Yeboah Adjei, popularly known as Guru, has described the vision and political message of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as unmatched in Ghana’s political landscape.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Agyemang on HotDigital Online in London, Guru said Dr. Bawumia’s ideology represents a modern, forward-looking, and “Gen Z” approach to governance that is more futuristic than that of any other Ghanaian politician.

According to Guru, several of Dr. Bawumia’s digital transformation initiatives have significantly improved the lives of Ghanaians. He cited the Ghana Card, the digitisation of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), and other technology-driven policies as examples of innovative ideas that have transformed public service delivery.

Guru stated that, in his view, no other politician in Ghana currently possesses the kind of innovative ideas and vision that Dr. Bawumia brings to national leadership.

Commenting on the administration of President John Dramani Mahama since assuming office, Guru acknowledged that the government has performed well in the tourism sector. He praised the appointment of Abeiku Santana and noted that several tourism-related initiatives introduced by the administration have had a positive impact on the industry.
