Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, known professionally as Dr. Likee has been named as the top skit performer in the country by United States-based Ghanaian journalist, Kevin Taylor.

According to Kevin, Akabenezer, as he is affectionately known, and his crew are currently in the lead, far ahead of their rivals.

"So far, when you go to YouTube and scrolling, those with more views are the ones you see quickly... I like to say that this gentleman Akabenezer has proven, when you look at his beginning and where he's gotten to, with all the distractions on his side," he remarked on his 'With All Due Respect' show.

Ras Nene, as he is also known, has kept focused, and his sketches are primarily about humour, Kevin said on the show monitored Ghanaguardian.com.

He claims that Dr. Likee has never been engaged in politics in his career and that his adaptability is what makes him so enjoyable to watch.

"This guy has never been involved in politics and when you watch his skits you see that it's basically about humour, and there's one thing I respect about him; it doesn't matter where you place him, he's able to prove his that's his talent," he said.

Kevin admitted that though other skit makers could be doing equally interesting stuff, that cannot change the fact that Dr. Likee is the "champ".

"So currently, as I'm talking, in Ghana, Akabenezer is the champ. It doesn't matter what you do, maybe you don't like him but I don't care," he stated, acknowledging that the characters in 'Abrewa Mafia' series including Vivian Gill are also doing well.
