Dreams FC have secured the services of left-back Christian Owusu from Techiman Liberty Youth FC, signing him on a four-year contract.

The club announced the signing via X (formerly known as Twitter), stating, “Dreams FC are pleased to announce the signing of Christian Owusu.

The left-back joins the Believers from Techiman Liberty Youth FC. Christian Owusu signed a contract that will run until 2028.”

Owusu, who was a standout performer in the recent Division One League season, is expected to bolster Dreams FC’s defense as they aim to enhance their performance in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.

Despite interest from several clubs, Owusu chose to join the Still Believe lads, who are looking to build on their previous season’s efforts.

The club faced challenges in the Ghana Premier League last season but excelled in the CAF Confederation Cup, reaching the semifinals.

As the new season approaches, Dreams FC is set to begin their campaign in September with hopes of improving upon their ninth-place finish in the league last season.

Owusu’s addition is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the team’s defensive lineup and contribute to their ambitions both domestically and internationally.
