Ebusua Dwarfs fail with their appeal against Legon Cities points deduction

Ghana Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs have been dealt a huge blow as the their appeal against the GFA’s Disciplinary Committee’s decision to declare Legon Cities victors of their match day 23 fixture has been dismissed by the Appeals Committee.

Dwarfs were declared losers of their home fixture against Legon Cities which the game ended abruptly after the referee abandoned the game after the first half due to threats from fans of the home team.

Per the ruling of the Appeals Committee, it showed that fans of the home side confronted the referees in their dressing room to threaten them while the Dwarfs also confirmed that about 15 fans of their also threatened the referees at half time.

The report from the Police also confirmed that the home fans threatened to unleash mayhem on the referees.

The Appeals Committee have upheld the ruling of the Disciplinary Committee and have dismissed the appeal of Ebusua Dwarfs.
