Exclusive: Black Stars new boy Antwi Adjei to file for his Ghanaian passport this week

Following his maiden call up to the Black Stars by Head coach Kwasi Appiah, Paderborn midfielder Christopher Antwi Adjei will visit the Ghana embassy in Germany this week to file for his Ghanaian passports, Ghanaguardian can exclusively confirm.
Born in Germany to Ghanaian parents, Antwi Adjei is yet to have a taste of international football at any level and therefore do not require and switch of nationality before he is eligible to feature for the West African powerhouse.
However, the 25-year old will need to acquire a Ghana passport to make him fully Ghanaian in order to pave way for him to represent his nation.

With the final FIFA international break taking effect from Monday November 11, 2019, Antwi is racing against time to grab his passport ahead the start of Ghana AFCON 2021 Qualifiers.
The midfielder will be at the Ghana embassy in the course of this week to start the process with the hope of completing the passport acquisition by the close of the week.
The Black Stars of Ghana will begin camping on Monday November 12 ahead of their game against South Africa on Thursday November 14 at the Cape Coast Stadium followed by a trip to Sao Tome and Principe four days later.
