Ghana's national team, the Black Stars, are planning an international friendly against Zimbabwe as part of their preparations for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).

United Kingdom-based Ghanaian football agent Justin Addo is organising the match which is pencilled for May next year, a month before the Afcon finals.

The Warriors need at least a point in their last Group G encounter against Congo Brazzaville in Harare in March next year to qualify for the 2019 finals.

Meanwhile Ghana secured qualification to the continent's flagship tournament after Sierra Leone was removed from the competition by CAF.

The four-time African Champions  are one point behind Kenya in second place after whipping Ethiopia 5-0 in Kumasi in June last year and triumphed 2-0 in Addis Ababa two weeks ago.

Ethiopia now has one point after losing the three points they clawed from beating Sierra Leone in September in Awasa.

The winner of Group “F” will be known on March 22, 2019 when Kenya visits Ghana.
