Farmers will do better through strategic interventions – PPP
The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has pledged to buttress farmers to do better through strategic interventions as Agriculture employs more than 50% of Ghanaians.
The flag bearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has said he is proud to extend a better deal for a better life because development in Agriculture sector will provide higher standards of living for Ghanaians.
“The PPP is proud to offer a better deal for a better life. The PPP will Support Our Farmers to do better- through STRATEGIC INTERVENTIONS.” Dr. Nduom stated on his official facebook page – Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom
The PPP as well is bent to ” use the state’s purchasing power to support improved livelihood for our farmers and fishermen”
Dr. Nduom furthermore assures Ghanaian farmers the PPP will protect them against “unfair competition and provide subsidies in various forms” as been done for the farmers in the developed countries.
This year’s Farmer’s Day has seen the former Electoral Commission boss, Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Agyan as the ” Best District Fish Farmer”
