Former BOST CEO Edwin Provencal arrested by EOCO at Kotoka Airport

Former Chief Executive Officer of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST), Edwin Provencal, has been arrested by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

Sources say Mr. Provencal was picked up at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) on Monday, November 10, 2025, while attempting to board a flight to Maputo, Mozambique.

He was reportedly on a stop list issued by EOCO as part of ongoing investigations into alleged irregularities during his tenure at BOST.

According to the report, Mr. Provencal was detained after he attempted to leave the country without prior authorisation, in violation of the conditions of the ongoing probe.
